Blame the Republicans come election day

gbrk ·
Come the 2018 mid-term elections you are going to hear the media singing the tune .. "Blame the Republicans" for none of their campaign promises getting done. No Obamacare recall, no tax breaks for anyone and no lowering of the cooperate income tax rate as was promised. No finished Mexico border wall and no payment by Mexico for the wall. In part it is true that Republicans are the best at circular firing squads and end up, out of their own greed and inner arguments, help defeat Trump's...

Typical "Standard Operating Procedure" for Democrats. Whatever it takes to win, at all cost, whatever it takes. If caught then count on the media to not cover the story or they will provide cover such that it will never really make the news. This actually doesn't surprise me in the least but if it was campaigning for Trump or Republicans then you can rest assured that those responsible and those participating in any and all such events would totally forfeit not only their jobs but any future...

I'm just glad that Georges got a mention whether or not they are the best. I do though believe that they are among the top steak places in the state but I've had great steaks at various places other than Georges. I too enjoy the Seafood Platter at Georges because of the Red Snapper because you can't find Red Snapper too many places anymore. I also think their butterfly fried shrimp is among the best in the area. I, too, agree that Dales Steakhouse (sadly) went downhill fast before they sold...

Ringo Starr's 2016 Fort Wayne Concert

gbrk ·
Just finished watching a recorded concert that Ringo Starr did in Ft Wayne, IN back in 2016. The concert featured Ringo along with some other Rockers from various groups but one thing was apparent. Ringo still had his ability to entertain and sing as well as jump around on stage like he was back in his 20''s. Not bad for a guy that was pushing 76 years old. Through the years Ringo has developed many musical friends due to his assistance and help with various projects and I guess some of them...

If the Republicans really wanted to push liberals and Democrats completely over the edge and actually driving them insane all they would have to do is legislate that there would be three additional Justices needed on the Supreme Court changing it from Nine to Twelve. Then send it to Trump to nominate the additional new Justices. The Constitution leaves it to Congress to determine how many Justices should be on the Supreme Court, originally there was Six Justices (1 Chief and 5 Associates).

Sometimes sound works for you and in your favor. One of the most deterring sounds to a potential Burger would be the sound of a pump shotgun chambering a round. No other thing makes that kind of sound and its unmistakable. Or compare the sound of a .22 round going off to that of a .357 magnum, a 30-06 or NATO 5.56 and I'd say one would instill more fear than another.
