Michelle Obama Cites Jesus as Model for Citizenship

While the president has avoided claiming that God is on the side of the U.S. in the war on terrorism and the war in Iraq, he has often portrayed it as a battle of "good versus evil." In "Plan of Attack," a book about war decision-making, author Bob Woodward quotes the president as saying, "I'm surely not going to justify the war based on God." But he also told Woodward that he prayed "for the strength to do the Lord's will."

Although the president often openly discusses his faith and his aides say he is guided by his beliefs and by prayer; he has not spoken publicly on his personal views on many of the age-old questions about biblical writings. In a 2000 interview with the website Beliefnet.com, He said, "I am not all that comfortable describing my faith because in the political world there are a lot of people who say, 'Vote for me, I'm more religious than my opponent and those kind of folks make me a little nervous."

The First Lady  was at an AME Church in Nashville, and that is where she made her statements that got your panties in a wad.

Then she went to Memphis for a fund raiser, as you stated.

But the fact that she went 200 miles from the Nashville appearance to attend a function completely independent of the Nashville appearance has NOTHING to do with the nature of the appearance in Nashville, except in the distorted focus of your irrationality! You obvious intent was to use the latter appearance to prove something about the first, which is totally wacky!

With that wonderful logic -- maybe you can explain why the Obamas place their hands over their hearts ON the right side of their chest.   Are they that confused?  Or, maybe they have no heart and so the confusion.    And, don't say it is a reverse image -- for we can see their wedding rings.  Unless they wear their wedding rings on their right hand -- which would explain why they support same-sex marriage.

All in all, they embarrass America and Americans.

Obama Keeps the Faith on His BlackBerry

Despite the challenges of attending church while in office, Obama has indicated that he has not been detached from his faith or faith communities during his first year.

The President told ABC News in July that he prays every night before going to bed.

"I pray all the time now," Obama said. "I've got a lot of stuff on my plate and I need guidance all the time."

If this photo is a "mirror image" as you claim -- do the Obamas wear their wedding rings on their right hands?  When one uses his/her left hand across the chest, as they are doing -- they have their hands above the RIGHT side of their bodies.  Take a good look at their wedding rings -- and, then, tell me this is a mirror image.

Also, please notice the small flag he has on his lapel.  These are ALWAYS worn on the left lapel.

And, this is the Mr. and Mrs. President you want running America for another four years?  When they do not even know their right from their left?

Wow, Bill. Are you OK? I'm serious. Lately it seems that you are confusing the people who post here. It was PUP, not Contendah, who posted the article debunking the photo. And on top of that, it explained about the rings right in the article:  "The manipulated version boasts Photoshopped wedding bands and reversed jacket buttons to make it appear as though the image hasn't been tinkered with."

I don't expect you to admit you are wrong, but I have noticed quite a few of your posts within the past few weeks where you confuse what was said and by whom. As much as you and I disagree on so many things, I'm seriously a bit worried about you. Maybe it's the heat getting to you. Maybe it's overwork. But maybe you should get in for a checkup. None of us are invincible, and when a friend, even a "forum friend" notices a change, it would be wise to step back and see if there is any merit to their claim.

As I said, you and I disagree on SO many things, but I truly do wish you good things, and I hope your health is OK.

Compare these two photos which some are claiming to be the same -- just mirror images.  In the top photo, we can clearly see their wedding rings, we can clearly see his lapel flag pin -- and we can clearly that her right thumb is TOUCHING the top of her dress near her pearls.

In the second photo, showing their hearts to be on the right side -- her thumb if FAR below her neckline.  These photos are NOT mirror images of one another.

Whatever bill. I guess snopes is in on the conspiracy. 

Isn't it AMAZING how she changed the side she parts her hair on! And Bill, if your'e honest with yourself you will admit these pictures, even if they are different, were taken at the same place and time. Perhaps one was taken a second or two after the other and she moved her thumb. But you know as well as the rest of us that YOUR picture IS reversed.

Obama may be an economic dunce but I am pretty sure he knows which hand to use during the pledge or national anthem. If he doesn't, then I am sure he has people in charge of making sure he knows which hand to use. Either way the pic is bogus.

Just assuming that one of the photos is reversed -- HOW do you know, for sure, which one?   Explain the wedding rings and the lapel pin.

Because in the larger picture the servicemen are shown and unless you think THEY don't know which hand to use, that means the picture WAS reversed. Why do you think they cropped the picture so the servicemen weren't shown?

Gee, and to think, bill has posted about using snopes. Oh well, guess snopes is only trustworthy when it agrees with bill.

Simple solution!  Similar event, different photo shoot.   And, obviously the Obamas did not have their teleprompter operator at this photo shoot to tell them which hand to use -- they got confused.  Works for me!

After all, when the poor couple began to swim in the Socialism Pool -- the polluted water caused extensive brain damage.  Now, they do not know their left from their right. 

If only THEY were covered by ObamaCare -- they could get help.  But, since they, and our other  leaders in Washington DC are not under ObamaCare (only for we peons) -- I guess "we the people" will have to pay for more expensive treatments for them.

The people voted for CHANGE -- and this is the change we have been given.  But, God willing, only until we vote him out in November.
