Do not neglect the recent story about Amazon's purchase of Whole Foods. With the wealth of Bezos and Amazon along with some of their future plans of expansion, it appears that Amazon is squarely targeting WalMart and the Grocery business to expand their already expanding business.
When you think of how it all started, in Bezos Garage, by just offering a very limited supply of books online, to come to what it is now it surely has many wondering just how big they are going to become.
I heard/read about one of the future plans of Amazon was to establish huge distribution centers, in the sky, floating as blimps, and using drones to deliver a variety of products within a certain delivery zone. Already Amazon is looking at their own trucking and airline company so it's open ended it seems, at the moment, as to just how large Amazon can get. No doubt Bezos will become the richest man in the world before too long.
