I've said before that I'm not for banning all guns.  Civilians don't need military type weapons though.  Chicago and Baltimore?  There are economic and education issues in both cities that need to be addressed.  I hate to be that guy, but there is a show called The Wire about the city of Baltimore.  Binge watch it sometime, and you might get some insight of the city's dysfunction.  I'm glad trump is considering bump stocks.  Sometimes though, it seems like you guys watch too many westerns.... "The good guy with the gun will always win."  Yeah, but in real life, people die and are injured before the good guy shows up....

I do believe you when you say you aren't for banning all guns and I don't believe that most people that are for eliminating the AR15's and the like do not want to ban all guns.  Here is the problem I see with it though.  I fully believe, given the history of this nation, it's founding and the Constitution that the founders, who wrote the Constitution, meant for ordinary citizens to possess and have military type weapons for the intent was to allow them the ability and power to overthrow or take back the government if it was ever taken away from the people.  That said we do have restrictions as it isn't reasonable for citizens to have rockets, rocket launchers, or machine guns and as time has gone by and technology and our population increased as well as the world around us then there are reasonable changes that could be suggested and made but, again, I believe if those changes are to be made they should be made by the prescribed method provided for those changes.

If the changes happen and are approved, by the prescribed method, then so be it either you win or lose but you do so by the way the founders decided it should be done and not by quick legislation, or worse, advocate court action and we could be reaching a point, in the not so distant future, where even the Supreme Court is compromised and used for achieving legislation or agendas rather than its job or intended design.

I get this.  However, I don't believe that a military comprised of our fathers, mothers, daughters, sons, nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members, friends, and neighbors would ever turn against us.  The people are more important than the ones in power...
