I never ate there but it reminded me of the Mongolian Grille located by Academy Sports in that you could choose your ingredients and have them grilled up for you.  I just never could get used to choosing all the different ingredients and spices and then raw meats, as they were presented, putting them in that little bowl and handing it over to a person to cook it up.

Chinese isn't my favorite cuisine but when I do choose to eat Chinese I usually choose Panda Express or Rice Box (here locally).  I usually choose Japaneese over Chinese and thus end up over UMI.

I will though also add that, even though I haven't eaten there recently, ICHIBAN over in Sheffield (across the road from Georges Steak Pit and down from, and on the same side as, Southland) is always packed out and has a good reputation for having great Asian food and some say the best sushi in the area.
