Dire, I looked at a GDP site. It gave Obama credit for a 3.23 GDP growth, this included a .11% in 2009. It gave Bush a 5.78 average, it gave Reagan a 8.52 number. Keep in mind, it gave Carter credit for a 11.53 average GDP. Reagan and Carters number came when less american manufacturers had left america and there was a higher percent on unionized workers in america.
I suspect you viewed statistics normalized for inflation. For Reagan and before, that would be correct. I've used the same. However, for Obama's last 7.5 years, I used the US Bureau of Labor Statistics stats, as there was little inflation during that recent period. BLS recently downgraded the stats for Obama's administration, as I referenced a few times in the forum.
