I do remember quite a few that seem to have been so active yet to go silent such as GoFish, DeepFat, Semiannualchick, Crash Override, Jank, Contendah, Invictus, Crustymac, Dove of Peace, O No!, Jimmy Hendrix, Road Puppy and not to omit Bill Gray. Some did not go on their own while others may have just transformed into another ID that I didn't catch and then I know I've left out so many because once you start naming names you omit and forget so many so forgive me if I have omitted your name when you were so active and prominent in the group.
One thing we all seem to have in common is an unabashed willingness to put ourselves out there with our opinions and beliefs and in some cases excessive Bloviating. Thankfully, for the most part, there have been members mutually respectful of each other's opinions with some unfortunate times when such has not been the case and then other times when it was the extreme differences and conflicts between two members that became oil and water type situations were, in the end, entertaining to a certain degree.
And so it continues! But with the absence of some members not to the degree that it used to be many years ago. In fact, some forums have become somewhat mundane with the absence of some of the more prolific bloviating members. Then again I have a habit of excessive bloviating and writing far too much along with using some words when others would do better but then hindsight is 20/20 isn't it?
