You are so blinded to reality, Invictus, that you can't seem to get much of anything straight. In Matthew 16:18, Jesus was speaking in FUTURE TENSE: "I WILL build my church."

No, Jesus did not "lie to Peter". He simply told Peter that He "will build my church," meaning that the church would be established at some time future to the time he made that statement.

Simple English, Invictus.

Could someone tell Invictus how far into the future Jesus was planning to start building...??
