Odds are much better against a truck, knife or machete verses a Civilian model of a Military weapon invented for killing humans very efficiently.

Casualties for Nice truck attack: 86 dead and 434 nonfatal injuries.

Casualties for Parkland evil killing machine attack: 17 deaths and 14 nonfatal injuries.

I guess that death by crushing is less dead.
