They think because they duped a lot of low information voters into voting for a reality star who made fun of a disabled person, insulted gold star families and admitted to sexually harassing women, that they are somehow "winning." After all, this is the party of the religious right.
Despite all of the aforementioned winning, the courts shoot down their unconstitutional policies and the squabbling brats who blamed everything on "the black guy", can't even agree on an insurance policy because they all want different levels of screwing of the public. They all have to get on the same page as to which rich white people are going to benefit the most before they really start winning.
I guess one thing they are winning is the vacation tally. For years all we heard about was how much Obama spent on vacations, and now Trump has already taken six trips to Mar-A-Largo and is already close to a quarter of the way to the money spent by the Obama's in 8 years. At this rate, they will definitely win the most money ever spent by tax payers for a vacationing President.
