Reply to "Trump Fears."

I really don't want Trump to fail. I'm an American before being a liberal democrat. I think his biggest fault is, he spent 40 years being the owner-boss and no one could tell him no. Now, people are telling him no, both on his side and against him and he don't know how to cope with it.

I can appreciate that reply because whether the President, in office, is Liberal or Conservative, Democrat or Republican (and that goes for Congress also) when they fail then it doesn't bode well for the American people as a whole.  Each party is guilty of offenses and bad legislation but one thing that makes the Democrats embolden in their actions is that they are never held to account by the national media.  They can get away with bad legislation more times than Republicans and that's one way we got the Healthcare insurance that we have now.

I don't care which party is in control I don't have faith that our representatives, government employees can take care of our healthcare issues simply because of the huge private interest parties that get involved in everything that the politicians do.  They want to make sure that they get their piece of the pie and their pie is usually tremendously fat and beneficial unto them.

Healthcare is one of the few areas that Americans purchase where they don't or can't know the cost before they make their decisions but rather have to wait until they get an insurance statement or bill from the provider in order to find out how much they were charged.  That shouldn't be.  Going right along with that is the different rates that people with insurance are charged verses people that don't have insurance.  Medical providers and service providers should have to list their charges or cost up front so that patients can make choices regarding their healthcare and where they go for services to be performed.  This is one area that the Government can or could intervene and take action requiring such charges and cost to be published.   As it is three different people may get three different charges based entirely upon whether or not they have insurance and/or what type of insurance they have.  I know this deviates from the original topic but pulling it back around to that topic I don't see healthcare insurance being addressed in this legislative session and I hope that it doesn't hold hostage other legislation that is critical to keeping and instilling confidence in Trump's ability to do what he said he could do.

I also think you are correct with regards to Trump being accustomed to private industry and not accustomed to the politics of Washington.  I still though believe that a large part of what makes Trump .. Trump is his enormous ego.  Some may see it as confidence but I think that may be a part of it but I also think that he needs to feel superior and the best at anything and everything he does.  I also think that the left and the media does a great injustice not giving the man a chance and otherwise declaring outright war on the man and anything he does.  It will be interesting to see how that plays out in the mid-terms and if people remain loyal to Trump even in the face of some legislative setbacks.
