So far this year, Tennessee Vols have had the most exciting games to watch. Especially second half or should I say, last 3 minutes of the game.. The Georgia game was unreal... Both sides from the Fans, got a dose of "Gaping Mouth Syndrome" at the end. All that luck for TN has been a bit early in the season and they will need to keep some of it down the stretch.. I just don't want TN to have their Lucky Charms working during the Bama game..

I just don't want them to have their "dirty deeds" working during the game. Here's hoping Rashaan Gaulden has his leg broken in the first play.

I thought Florida's coach filed a grievance. Wonder what happened there.

No idea.

If it had happened, you would have heard about it so you'll have to Google what you thought would happen but did not.

Best I can ascertain, the TN player put on a fake injury not unlike many punters who fake injury.  Saw one player [TAM, I believe] do it three times tonight, but the ref's didn't buy it.  The UT -  GA referee flagged it.  Foul should have been Personal Foul "hands to the face" a fifteen yarder, but sometimes personal fouls can rise to the level of "targeting" which requires the initial penalties of ejection and suspension for the second half of the game in progress or the first half of the next game.  That is entirely left up to the officials.

There is no evidence the suspension was enforced [by the coach] which, to me, was a subtle way of saying the ref's, especially those in the SEC review booth in B'ham blew it not the call but the penalty.  The third level, suspension following ejection, didn't happen.  Supposedly, the SEC review gurus in B'ham are supposed to review every play but I have seen several instances when they blew it again and again.  Last time was tonight when Bama clearly fumbled on the Arkansas 1 yard line.  Bama was awarded a touchdown but only a timeout called by the Arkansas coach to review the play showed an obvious fumble.  The call on the field was reversed.  In UT previous game, they were awarded a reception when it was clearly an incompletion.

All this dust up over what the TN player did and what he should repent for is just that... dust up.  Players fake injuries to get penalties, times outs, stop drive momentum , , , to name but a few . . . all familiar to even the most casual football fan.

Keep in mine that the link Best provided was to a Blog in progress.  None of the things predicted by the author of the blog came to pass.

Wishing harm come to a player on the field, not cool. especially when he happens to play for your teams traditional rival.  Bad form not to want to take on your rival at their best.  However, within the "Up*d*y*k*e rules of engagement", I guess it's whatever goes.
