I'm not commenting on lexum's post directly, but will make a comment concerning the "empirical" knowledge used in textbooks today. When I was in college the first time, I was taught that 28 genes controlled skin color. When I returned to nursing school, approximately ten years ago, I was taught that the "latest" thinking was that six genes control skin color. Recently, while studying another nursing topic, I saw a third number mentioned. I did not have the time to follow through with that in...

Bottom line: We know very little and atheists condemn others for believing in God, but seem to follow whatever new theory is in style this nanosecond. Not really. I for one have posted over and over that science changes as it advances. That is why they call it "theory". Christians on the other hand "stand on the ridiculous things written in an ancient book by superstitious old men that had no idea how the world worked". A man from dirt and a woman from a bone. Dang I wish I had some...

Theory A scientific theory summarizes a hypothesis or group of hypotheses that have been supported with repeated testing. A theory is valid as long as there is no evidence to dispute it. Therefore, theories can be disproven. Basically, if evidence accumulates to support a hypothesis, then the hypothesis can become accepted as a good explanation of a phenomenon. One definition of a theory is to say it's an accepted hypothesis. Example: It is known that on June 30, 1908 in Tunguska, Siberia,...

DUPLICITY (Dictionary.com) “deceitfulness in speech or conduct; speaking or acting in two different ways concerning the same matter with intent to deceive; double-dealing.” “ If science is to be defined as "empirical, observable & testable" then that definition should apply to evolution too! Still don't see the hurray over most of this. We've know of tachyons -- subatomic particles that travel from the future to the past. Its even been theorized that communication might be possible by arranging them in short and long bursts -- Morse code. Its my understanidng time travel will be a lab experiment by 2012 and probes sent into the past by 2017, with human by 2021.

Well I’m disappointed the big bang scientists on here dressed up as atheist didn’t protest. I guess I gave them credit from knowing their ***from a whole in the ground about science too quickly. Usually they claim every noise at night has to do with proving the banger theory. This article just shows the apparent disgust with the atheist by scientists. This article as it should do tells them in a nice way to butt out. Symmetry breaking shortly after a big bang is not the proof here. "If we...

No DD you can’t insult your way out of ignorance about science. The point about this is: you atheist birds call believers ignorant and claim they don’t know anything about science. The truth is science recognizes that you agenda driven suckers give science the bad name. You are getting yourself excited by causing yourselves misunderstanding about what actually is. Dd if you don’t know the significance of this experiment or what it’s all about you need to learn . Until you do you need to keep...

DD I doubt if your concern is genuine so don’t put yourself out on my behalf. I am curious as to why you are compelled to interrupt my post with ignorance. I’m confident you don’t understand the science to begin with and that in a nutshell is my complaint. Your group constantly accuses believers of being stupid and not knowing that science says there is no Creator. Science makes no such argument. The terminology of the three manifestos are obviously designed to just skirt around the norms of society luring the unsuspecting candidate...
