Kevin Andre Towles, the prime suspect charged with capital murder in the slaying of 5-year old Geontae Glass, has a long string of criminal charges.
Etowah County Sheriff James Hayes said Towles had a lengthy criminal history, including 30+ convictions ranging from assault to possession, sales & distribution of assorted illicit drugs.
WHNT TV channel 19 news reported that Toles was walking the streets as a free man, because he was turned loose on probation by a Etowah County circuit court judge appointed by then-Alabama Governor Fob James.
That circuit Court Judge was Roy Moore.
