Tucker Carlson reacted to Rep. Maxine Waters' (D-Calif.) threat to "take [HUD Secretary Dr. Ben Carson's] a** apart" by noting she might indeed be qualified to take his job.

Carlson said Waters, a 40-year politician, lives in a 6,000 square-foot mansion worth $4.3 million that is not in her congressional district.

He asked how Waters could afford a home like that in a ritzy neighborhood while solely working as a representative of the 43rd District.

"We should take her seriously on this subject," Carlson said, calling her a "confirmed expert on the question on housing."

He said that while Waters sometimes speaks using racially-charged rhetoric, she lives in a neighborhood that is only six percent African-American.

At the same time she represents a district with the second-highest concentration of African-Americans in California.

"How did Maxine Waters pull off a housing coup like that?" he asked, adding that it "almost qualifies her to be HUD secretary herself."

Sadly it isn't only Democrats who have enriched themselves while they allow most of America to have to cope with the garbage they put on us but fail to make themselves abide by.

Many times it's money they get potentially, from favors but also it's very easy to make, wise investments when you have their kind of insider information. Many times some CEO seeking favorable legislation or favors themselves for them or their company might tell legislators about something coming up that will greatly benefit the company and the stock price.

Either way one only has to listen to this woman talk to realize she isn't the brightest bulb on the tree

I say change all of those that are guilty but then you would have to have enough to run the government and I'd say so many do it or take advantage of it they will never be changed.

On the other hand if they were not going to charge Hillary after all they had on her just what can we expect they will do to any one of them?

I said charge her

Who do you want to charge her? You keep voting for Dem scum, how about you speak up to that scum and tell them you want her investigated (a real investigation), and charged if they can prove wrongdoing? The reason you won't, you don't care what Dems do. But let it be a Republican and you'd never shut up about it.

both side elected officials do the "do as I say, not as I  do"  Both sides do congressional investigations, when is the last time something came from them?  both the top republican and democrats are ripping us off.

Long ago I witnessed a law suit.  After each sessions of testimonies the attorneys would meet privately.   After hours and hours of testimonies just before going to the judge a settlement was reached.  The only winners were the attorneys who made a lot of money.   Our side paid two attorneys $45,000 to get an $7000 settlement.   why  does this matter?  yep most of our congress are attorneys.

That still doesn't explain how Waters could afford a $4.3 millon mansion.

Actually this has nothing to do with why waters has a 4 million plus mansion, but I will say, in a day and age when you can be sued for ANY thing, attorneys are a fact of life. We had a vendor that had false charges brought against him by a client, and had done nothing wrong and was incensed that the person dared file the charges and was determined to fight it.  His attorney, a good one,  told him he was completely correct, he had done nothing wrong, and he could clear his wife of any charges with just a filing of paperwork, but to clear him would take a trial that would cost him around $250,000.00 in lawyer's fees. OR he could plead either guilty or no contest, (not sure which), pay a $500.00 fine, and go on about his business, AND sue the client. Doesn't take a genius to figure out which one he chose to do.
