Reporters with the Washington Post and New York Times were apparently less than enthusiastic about covering the controversial private meeting between then-Attorney General Loretta Lynch and former President Bill Clinton just months ahead of the 2016 election.

The non-profit American Center for Law and Justice published emails Friday that showed reporters asking Department of Justice officials for details on the meeting.

Mark Landler, a reporter for the Times, is seen in one June 30 email reaching out to a DOJ official to say he's "been pressed into service to write about the questions being raised" by the meeting.

Matt Zapotosky with the Post emailed a DOJ official the same day after several other emails to say that his editors "are still pretty interested" in the story but that he wanted to "put it to rest."

Lynch and Clinton had met on the tarmac in Phoenix to discuss "primarily social" matters, according to public comments Lynch made after the meeting.

But at the time, Democratic presidential candidate and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was under federal investigation for her use of a private email server as a top government official.

When news initially broke of the meeting, the Times did not publish any stories about the meeting for more than 24 hours, as the Washington Examiner reported.

Desperation met stupidity on the corner of bad luck and despair, and the democratic party was born.

The Democratic party has essentially become an anti-American Socialistic, borderline Communistic, party which still maintains many of the patented slogan lines from many years ago because they still guarantee votes from various groups of voters who fail to analyze what each party stands for an votes strictly and purely by name.  I keep wanting to see the Hijacked Democratic party have some moderate and conservative politicians attempt to regain power within the party but as it is I don't know if that will ever happen.

Something interesting I read today...

Millennials feel upbeat, too, but for different reasons. Though the oldest of the cohort are only in their mid-30s, their massive numbers threaten to swamp Gen X and push it off center stage. Millennials already constitute more than half the US workforce, and employers are eager to accommodate their habits and preferences. Millennial impatience with traditional business practices is no secret. Many expect to be promoted during their first year on the job. “I think the younger generation obviously wants to move a lot more quickly in positions than maybe the more senior folks like me,” said Kathleen L. Flanagan, CEO of the consulting firm Abt Associates, in a 2013 interview with The New York Times.

Nearly 70 percent of millennial survey respondents said they’d be comfortable voting for a socialist candidate. During the 2016 Democratic presidential primary, 80 percent of voters under 30 voted for Bernie Sanders in the early-voting states of Iowa, New Hampshire and Nevada. In 2012, millennials put Barack Obama over the top in a tight race against Republican Mitt Romney.

Perhaps most troubling, millennials have displayed an indifference to the bedrock American principle of free speech. A 2015 Pew study found 40 percent of those between the ages of 18 and 34 felt the federal government ought to censor potentially offensive statements about minority groups.

The parents and grandparents of the entitled, impatient and politically correct millennials are only partly to blame. The primary culprit is technology. We’re only starting to digest the ramifications of how much the Internet has transformed the world and daily life — from how we interact with our friends and neighbors to how we process information. But technology’s influence can be seen most dramatically along generational lines.

When the truth is offensive then there again, the lack of a
knowledgeable educational system is the ruin of a generation and
the communist need that control along with religion, which they
have on the run as of late.
With millions of additional new immigrants this country can't afford
and already broke from the last eight years, it's bleak.
