If at all possible I would appreciate a liberal to explain to me
why you will fight for your enemies, namely islam knowing
they live to kill you along with everyone else, but you will fight
non stop and willing to kill your own people, people you need
to war against the true enemy which isn't your neighbor of
300 hundred years defending each other against the world
and now you want to destroy America by way of division.
I believe an explanation from you is necessary.

All you are really good at is posting ignorant lies that you get off your ultra right wing web sites. You wouldn't know a real liberal American if one of them hit you between the eyes.

I'll never know.

No real liberal American would think twice of laying a pinky on me.

Nothing to be learned from the second kick of a mule my pappy used to say.

There's no such thing as a real liberal American. As for the rest of your hissy fit rant,

Matthew 7:3-5

“Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye

Luke 6:42 Or how canst thou say to thy brother, Brother, let me cast out the mote that is in thine eye, when thou thyself beholdest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, cast out first the beam out of thine own eye, and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote that is in thy brother's eye

I just wanted an answer from a liberal to the question in the thread,
and I see you're too embarrassed to attempt an explanation, a reason
or maybe a guess. Why so pizzed about it JT.? Could it be the thread
rang true with you and you can't handle the truth.?

Hey mook, what lie from what site? I see opinions from us, formed by learning the facts. Conservatives can do that you know, think for themselves and form opinions based learning the facts. Plus, if it came from a site we put in a link. Not like your, "you heard it or you got an email" cop out.

Yeah, y'all hit my buttons. I started paying SS when I was 14. I served in the military and got a honorable discharge. I've gone to school or worked until I retired. I didn't get or do all those things that everyone  of you accuse all liberals of. Yes I'm liberal, yes I care about other peoples welfare. Yes I think there should be a one payer medical health care in America. Why are we the only modern nation in the world not to have it? Why do other industrialised nations pay their CEOs 30 or 40 times the average worker, but the US pays them 500 times. Can that be justified? How?

One more time, there are no nations with single payer insurance.

You're no different than millions of other people doing the same
thing, except many chose the American conservative way and
the losers stay stupid.

You know the saying, JT, "trust, but verify."

And you know the drill.  Need some examples / links.  Apples to apples comparisons.

Start with what is the salary of the average worker in the US?  And what is the salary the average worker in other industrialized nations?

Jt will need to take that up with his favorite party and favorite President. Dems owned both houses of Congress and the White House in 1993 when the tax codes concerning executive compensation changed. Before that they lived like royalty on expense accounts like the rest of the world's executives and our elected leaders so they didn't need large salaries.

Exactly, their expense accounts paid for everything.  One could read articles about flying to London to have bespoke suits made at less than the cost in NYC, of one ordered at least five suits (including the cost of air fare).  The Japanese still have this type of tax exclusion, partially because of high tax rates.

You're a fibber, and still worried about what someone else has earned, and you have no idea how government works. Who did you work for at 14 that paid you by check and took out taxes and SS? Fibber.

Who pays? Where does the money come from? Whose welfare do you care about? Certainly not American citizens since you are an anti-American Democrat.

Dire, Wikipedia says Canada and Taipan are single payer, lots of other nations are national plus some private.

Per CNBC, average Ceo pay in America in 2016 was 12.4 million which was 335 times average worker pay.  Per Time money, same thing.

per Bloomberg, average US CEO made 16.85 million last year, world average was 6.51 million. China was 0.64

Gifted, I had SS held out of earnings on farm labor. If, I think, back then if a farmer was gonna claim a tax deduction and paid over $250 to a worker, SS had to be held out. Thanks for calling me a liar. Typical.

I said fibber, so you lied, which is typical. I don't believe you about the SS either.

My purpose here is just to point out that the economic structure of health care in other places just isn't what all too many people think it is. There's a large part of the American political class insisting that this is just obvious. We should have a national, single payer, health care financing system. And the amazing thing about this is that so few countries actually do that. And most of those countries who are thought to have better health care systems than the US don't do that either.

There are indeed national health care systems out there--but they tend not to be single payer. And there are single payer systems out there, or close enough at least--but they tend not to be national.

Got that Jt? Comprehend it?

Canada had single payer healthcare.

Per Wiki:

"Chaoulli v Quebec (AG) [2005] 1 S.C.R. 791, 2005 SCC 35, was a decision by the Supreme Court of Canada of which the Court ruled that the Quebec Health Insurance Act and the Hospital Insurance Act prohibiting private medical insurance in the face of long wait times violated the Quebec Charter of Human Rights and Freedoms. In a 4 to 3 decision, the Court found the Acts violated Quebecers' right to life and security of person under the Quebec Charter. The ruling is binding only in Quebec. Three of the seven judges also found that the laws violated section seven of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms. One judge did not rule on the Canadian Charter. The result was a 3:3 tie on the question of the Canadian Charter, so Chaoulli decision does not apply to any other province."

The majority opinion ruled that patients awaiting specialist care over months, suffered the international definition of torture.  In Quebec, one of the most populous provinces, private healthcare insurance, hospitals, private doctors practices and urgent care centers are back.  The western provinces escaped the judgment by contracting out to US hospitals.

I know of no nation called Taipan. Taipan is the Chinese word for boss man, in Mandarin, I believe.

It would take a (gasp) tax increase.

Jt, it would probably need the mother of all tax increases. Take California where they have much higher incomes:

The latest stop on progressives’ magical wish tour for a single-payer health care plan is California, where U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vermont, has been campaigning on behalf of a proposed state-run, single-payer system. This week, state lawmakers in Sacramento got their first look at the price tag for the proposal: $400 billion annually.

At that price, even after accounting for an estimated $200 billion that could be saved by replacing current state-run health programs with the single-payer program, Californians would still need to come up with another $200 billion annually to fund the system.

This year’s entire state budget in California is about $180 billion, which means implementing a single-payer health care system would require doubling (at least) the state’s current tax burden. The analysis of the health care proposal presented to lawmakers suggests a 15 percent increase to the state’s payroll tax to provide the necessary revenue.

http://www.ocregister.com/2017...assive-tax-increase/

Now consider low income states like Mississippi or places with a high number of underemployed poor folks like the rust belt or inner cities. The amount of taxes needed would be astronomical to cover everyone.

Who is paying it now? How much is being spent on medical insurance now? Do you want to pay someone a government salary or pay 30 million to run the thing.

I think it will be a lot of goobermint "someones" on the payroll. And I suspect that if private insurance disappears so will the subsidization of Medicare and especially Medicaid costs by passing on the losses to the bills paid by everyone else.
