It was over 2000 years ago that Christ walked the paths along the earth yet at this time of the year we (Christians) remember another walk He took, on which led to a cross and judgment upon Him for being innocent yet a verdict that set up the Salvation for all of mankind.  The walk Christ took was the one to the Cross and once crucified His physical body lay three days in death but we, today, celebrate and remember, that on this third day, the first day of the week, Easter Sunday, the stone over the burial cave was rolled away and the cave was found to be empty.    Those who came to see Christ saw instead an empty grave and were greeted by news that he had arisen and was no longer physically dead.

It should also be noted that Christ, in John 15, told us, those who would follow him and place their faith in him, that we would have a tough path to follow and that we would be greeted with the exact same scorn that he was greeted with all because we have chosen to place our belief, our faith, in Him to be the sacrifice for our sins and sinfulness.

Be as the Bereans ( Acts 17:11 )
