You can literally replace Trump's name with BO and the story would be even more true.
Who really gives a shat what some dumbazz from New Zealand thinks anyway?
The world is sick with envy to be Americans, that's why they keep
coming here. Every country on earth has been obsessed with the USA
since 1776.
America has given the world so much of what they enjoy today.

I read some of Paul Thomas' tripe and decided that he is so far left that New Zealand is danger of tipping over and sinking.
A leftist liberal newspaper reporter / columnist, from New Zealand no doubt....hahaha.....you must really have flipped your wheelchair.
But did you highlight those from other parts of the world who criticized your current POTUS when he was running for office? When people from other countries pointed out his lack of experience?
No, didn't think so.
New Zealand, during the Cold War, insisted it be a nuclear free zone. But, still wished the US to protect it. Come China's expansionary moves, if it can still afford such, protecting kiwis will be low on my priority list.
The Rep stated later that he was just joking when he said it. Obviously he was lying, but I bet he gets re-elected again and again by the same low info voters contendah so proudly calls his brethren.

Which has nothing whatsoever to do with Mr. Thomas' description of current international attitudes.
Paul Thomas - New Zealand Herald:
Wasn't he the same guy who once thought Former Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras'- Socialist, was an inspiring young politician who would set new standards for the Euro Zone and Greece.
Opps, Tsipras resigned last week... Sorry, Paul Thomas thoughts are meaningless...
At 40, Tsipras was a former communist party youth activist, student leader, self-avowed atheist and populist firebrand appears determined to jolt not only his own country but also Europe. Nonconformity is part of the package. Tsipras, an ardent admirer of Ernesto “Che” Guevara – he named the youngest of his two sons after the Argentinian Marxist revolutionary –

Back then, most politicians were like Trump, more concerned with making America great instead of playing the PC game.

So condung, you believe the communist thomas speaks for the international
audience..??

You nailed it. He may not speak for the majority of the world, but he certainly resounds with folks like Contender who are more than willing to give you the shirt off my back, as long as they don't come after his own.
Amazing, isn't it that so many conservative folks on the one hand claim that America has lost its influence and injured its reputation in international circles (with Obama only to blame they fatuously ASSert), yet the same folks bristle when some foreign observer confirms just that.
In other news:
I doubt you can ever find where I have insinuated that we, America, has lost its influence abroad. But I bet you money you will never find where I put stock in what an admitted Communist ideologue who writes for a foreign newspaper thinks of this country or the people we ant to elect. That would be about as effective as myself writing a column in the local rag admonishing the selection of Kim Jung Un to fill his father's position, and telling the people of North Korea how I feel about it. I bet they would put as much weight and thought behind it as I give to this cretin who thins we should care. For all practical purposes there is a real following of Trump because he is not following the political correct (corrupt) agenda that has served in Washington for the past two decades, both Republican and Democrat. He is not afraid to tell it like it is. What is shocking is that the more people who hear him actually are seeing the light and hopefully we can make some changes in Washington, whether he is elected or not. I think the days of the Gimmecrats and Tax and Spenders could be coming to a close.

In some of our previous comments on this forum, you have demonstrated wisdom and insight. Not this time, though.
Trump panders to those who fear or loathe "the other." His takes on immigration and the 14th Amendment ("birthright citizenry") impress a certain sector of the less-educated public, but fortunately not a large enough one to get him to the White House. If he is not cut down by some yet-to-be- disclosed scandal, the thing that ultimately will bring on his failure will be the continued exposure of his irrational and impracticable program for dealing with illegal aliens. As time goes by, the intelligent analysis and rejection of his hugely-flawed immigration program will guarantee him insufficient support to ever darken the doorway of the Oval Office. He is blithering the seeds of his own political destruction with every speech.

I too was in denial when I first learned a community organizer and an admitted socialist with no real job experience was running for president. Impossible I said!

I trust you eventually renovated your all-too-narrow conceptualization of the President's work history by consulting some reputable source instead of allowing yourself to be duped by the silly-ass, truncated version you got from some wacko propagandist.
