I was in there today, and it was packed, that's for sure. It's almost dehumanizing to shop there, but I love prices and products.

Thanks for correcting that one. Although I don't usually shop there many of my relatives do and I note it is always crowded so I'm glad to hear it's doing well. I would say I would hope it would help lure Publix into this market but there is no comparison between ALDI and Publix other than they sell food products and I doubt seriously that a Publix would put any dent into ALDI's business.

I would love a Publix, too. Aldi isn't a one stop shop, but I like restocking basics there, and I also like to buy their frozen foods. The salmon burgers are so good, and a box of them is $3.99. A big bag of potatoes was $2.49, and I just bought the same sized bag at Southern Family a couple of weeks ago for $5.99. I wish there was an Aldi in the North Florence area, though.

ALDI has amazing prices

Yeah, that 10 minute drive is murder.

Gah, who peed in your Cheerios? What about me saying I'd like an Aldi in N. Florence would make you feel the need to be so sarcastic? No, the 15 minute (not ten, you must not know where I live) drive isn't murder, and I don't think I implied that, I simply stated I'd like to see one in N. Florence in addition to the one on Cox Cr. I like to see new things in N. Florence.

Geez, I now try to mostly stay in the usually benign food talk forum, and people even feel the need to be mean here.
