One man Builds a 2300 sq ft Home by Himself!

The link above links to Popular Mechanic's online magazine article about a YouTube contributor who posted a series of 11 videos where he, for the most part, single handily builds/constructs a 2300 square foot home from the foundation up, by himself.

When I was much younger I helped out several in my family who were contractors and builders as they built or remodeled several homes and it was not as easy as some think it might be.  This guy is amazing and talented but from the first video, I was horrified at the way he chose to support the first part of the first-floor sections.  What he did was possible because of technology and air nailers as well as pre-constructed trusses and floor joist, but even with that, it was an achievement.  I do wonder about his method of supporting the weight of the first floor though.  I would have thought he would have needed to have steel supporting poles rather than what appears to be a 2 x 10 or 2 x12 framing member supporting the initial floors.
