I mean good grief...an angel is an angel...to some it is a heavenly being that is associated with Jesus and the birth but to others they are spiritual guides to whatever you want...to others they are just pretty figurines that sit on your tree and make it look complete...this guy sounds like he just wanted to get his 15 minutes of fame and it is sad that a Town let him get away with it...now they are all infamous for a stupid reason...do something good for the world -- donate your time or money to a homeless shelter or soup kitchen on Christmas to make sure someone has something to eat or buy gifts for a child that won't have a "Santa" or anything besides wasting taxpayer money, city time and newspaper space...not too mention the trees that were killed just filing the motions etc...

If the photo with that post is showing the actual "angel," then by all means anything that purely TACKY should not be on display on governmental premises or anywhere else.
As to its alleged Judeo-Christian implications, well, that is pretty far-fetched. She looks more like a Muslim angel to me!
