This one should get councilwoman Angie Picken's blood boiling. I know some of you think I should change my screenname to Siskel and Ebert (one of them is dead, can't remember which) but I like nonconformist thought provoking movies)Never seen a Mel Gibson film in my life) and this one has it in spades. It is basically a spoof on all the hype generated in the last 15 years on NO SMOKING and staring a character who is a lobbyist for the Tobacco Industry. The message is personal freedom and priorities. The film itself is hilarious and highly recommended; got it at Movie Gallery on Pine St. Will be at the Florence/Lauderdale Public Library after it hits the "bargain bin" Hope you enjoy. THE DOG

I've heard that it is good.

Gene Siskel died and was replaced by Richard Roepper. Now Ebert is recupperating from a devastating stroke. The show is now being hosted by Roepper and guest hosts.

I'm looking forward to "Children of Men" which hopefully will arrive here this weekend.

ALso looking forward to "Dreamgirls" and "Notes on a Scandal."
