Thanks, Contendah.  I missed MUBM comment.

Could not the same argument made for those who enjoy a drink or two ... like maybe a couple or three of our friends?  I could very easily.

So MUBM, do you think public and private sectors that require drug tests are discriminating against your friends?  Why else would they require them?

Whatever does that mean regarding job performance?

Just got back home from Hawaii, where my daughter married an Honolulu doctor. I asked him what he thought about the use of marijuana, he was totally against it. He told me the only why he could support it is if a person were in the final stage of death and needed it to help with some pain. He also told me if a doctor told you to use it, then you better get a second or third opinon.

I also asked him about how to stay healthy, this is what he told me, get at least 30 minutes of exercise per day, get at least 7 to 8 hours of sleep per day, drink at least 5 to 7 glasses of water per day, stay away from fast food restaurants, go online and check the ingredients that is in your food. Get your home tested for radon. That the only supplements that he recommeds, is as a multiple vitamin that has at least 2,000 I.U. of vitamin D along with krill oil, fiber every day and now and then some silymarin that is about all you need.

Mad says:  I have played music in different bars around the area, and I can promise you that a stoner ain't near as much trouble as a whiskey drunk.

Mad implies stoners are in the bar, but you

Jank your reasoning for why whisky drunks cause more problems in a bar than stoners is because stoners are not in the bar.  They are driving around getting "mellow" like Kevin Ward.  How nice.

You misunderstood me. They go out to their cars and smoke or ride around the block, THEN come back in the bar. I was only telling you why you never SAW anyone smoking pot in a bar. I once again agree with seeweed. At home with a few friends is the best place to smoke.

I agreed with "Weed" too.

I think you misunderstand as well,

Mad says:  I have played music in different bars around the area, and I can promise you that a stoner ain't near as much trouble as a whiskey drunk.

Here's what I did say in response to that.

I've been to more than a few bars myself in my younger days, or back in the day for some of you, and never did I ever see pot served like they served alcohol.  No "pot" bars.  So to say there are more drunks than stoners in a bar is like saying there are more catfish than bass in a catfish pond.  Not saying pot wasn't present  and the odor somehow camouflaged by cigarette smoke and cheap perfume.

When I went to bars I was sent there looking for trouble and looking to stop it whenever I found it.  So more than likely I've seen more trouble not only at bars but other  places as well involving not only alcohol but just about any substance that can be abused.  Pot included.  I swear some folks have such a low tolerance for such stuff that they shouldn't be allowed to drink caffeine

So what I was trying to say is of course your going to find more belligerent drunks in a bar but to say that stoners can't cause problems ... Michael Brown, Kevin Ward ...  whether you agree or not, dems de facts.
