We won't find a thread or post of you ridiculing democrats.
You just proved my point...
I expect the Dems to be lowlife losers, only interested in their own self-interests. The Reps present themselves as the solution, yet prove to be no better than Dems at curtailing the growth of government and government waste. I would rather deal with a known low-life Dem, than a hypocritical Repub.

So, by your standards, IF I grew up in Mississippi, I could hate everything the Klan stood for, but if I sided with a group who prevented the Klan from killing and abusing those which they hated, I would be ****ed for my actions?
You are doing nothing except supporting the liberal agenda who is trying to dig up dirt on a man who is doing his best to help his state and his constiuents. They are trying to drag up racial issues that took place a quarter of century ago and make them relevant today. Mississippi is a different place than it was in the 1960's, despite what the Huffington Post and other liberal media outlets would depict.
I am sure that by enforcing segregation, they were doing the Negros a favor...not lynching them was just like giving them civil rights.
Stay in MS you ignorant redneck...
Yeah, I am an ignorant redneck.....you don't have a clue what the hell you are talking about. I grew up in segregation, and yet I never saw the atrocities you THINK were committed by ALL of the whitebread cracker rednecks you think lived there.
Just because people were trying to keep folks from being killed and killing others they were nothing but redneck racists by your accounts, huh Juan?
You are a sick twisted individual who does not have a clue what he is talking about, yet you sit behind your computer everyday and try to tell others how to live.
Kudos teyates

You nailed him Jennifer. But when juan is caught in a lie he still doesn't admit it.

True, he just moves on and starts a new thread with a different lie/half truth.
You know, I don't remember the 1917 Revolution as being so bad... hmm guess that makes me a Bolshevik sympathizer... OR it could just be that it was not part of my experience. This whole thread and the "news" controversy surrounding it was bogus to begin with... just more fake outrage from the left.
I lived in four deep south states during the 1960s and I encountered many people who were in the White Citizens Council (later just "Citizens Council") in each state. They were uniformly racist people. Some were much more rabid than others, but all of them were confirmed racists. They were at times pretty crafty in attempts to mask their baser racist attitudes, but they were all racists. I knew these people. One could hardly live in the deep south and know anyone without knowing some of them and the ones I knew were all racists. Haley Barbour lived in the deep south in that era and if he kept his eyes and ears open, he could not have helped but know that the Citizens Councils were loaded up with racists. Knowing that, he never should have made any statements commending them.
Having said that, i will say that I do not believe Haley Barbour is a racist. I have to believe that he used terribly bad judgment in saying anything by way of even a sidelong commendation of the Citizens Councils, a patently racist organization to its very core.
