Hi to all my Forum Friends,

JESUS CHRIST DIED, WAS BURIED, AND ROSE AGAIN!   Just as God raised the dead human body of Jesus Christ into the immortal, glorified, divine deity, the preexisting, eternal Lord of Heaven -- so Jesus Christ will also raise up His body, His church, into our immortal, glorified heavenly bodies.

Yes, He will Rapture His body of believers into our immortal, glorified heavenly bodies -- that we might be like Him in all ways except His deity.

1 John 3:2, "Beloved, now we are children of God, and it has not appeared as yet what we will be. We know that when He appears, we will be like Him, because we will see Him just as He is."

How do we know He will Rapture us, all believers?   Because we have His promise, given through the apostle Paul:

1 Thessalonians 4:16-18, "For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first.  Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up (harpazō, rapiemur, rapture) together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we shall always be with the Lord.  Therefore comfort one another with these words."

Yes, He will come again in glory, the Lion of Judah.  And, we, His Bride, His church, will be with Him at His Second Coming (Revelation 19:7-8,  Revelation 19:11-14).  That is the promise of His Resurrection!

The Bible speaks of His Sovereignty:

1 Chronicles 29:11, “Yours, O LORD, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty, indeed everything that is in the heavens and the earth; Yours is the dominion, O LORD, and You exalt Yourself as head over all."

Philippians 3:21, "Who will transform the body of our humble state into conformity with the body of His glory, by the exertion of the power that He has even to subject all things to Himself."

The Bible tells us of His Glory And Power:

Matthew 24:30, “And then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky with power and great glory."

Hebrews 1:3, "And He is the radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature, and upholds all things by the word of His power. When He had made purification of sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high."

Revelation 4:11, “Worthy are You, our Lord and our God, to receive glory and honor and power; for You created all things, and because of Your will they existed, and were created.”

Revelation 5:13, "And every created thing which is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all things in them, I heard saying, 'To Him who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb, be blessing and honor and glory and dominion forever and ever.' "

And, we sing of His Blessed Assurance -- because we KNOW He Resurrected and we KNOW that HE LIVES!:

Because He lives, I can face tomorrow,
Because He lives, all fear is gone;
Because I know He holds the future,
And life is worth the living,
Just because He lives!

Let me close by offering you a very good article about the importance of His Resurrection and His promise of our resurrection:

Question: "Why is the resurrection of Jesus Christ important?"
http://www.gotquestions.org/re...hrist-important.html

Answer:  The resurrection of Jesus is important for several reasons.  First, it witnesses to the immense power of God Himself.  To believe in the resurrection is to believe in God.  If God exists, and if He created the universe and has power over it, He has power to raise the dead.

If He does not have such power, He is not a God worthy of our faith and worship.  Only He who created life can resurrect it after death, only He can reverse the hideousness that is death itself, and only He can remove the sting that is death and the victory that is the grave’s (1 Corinthians 15:54-55).

In resurrecting Jesus from the grave, God reminds us of His absolute sovereignty over life and death.

Hi all,

I pray that my Friend, Contendah, is not ill.  Has anyone heard from him lately?  Although I do not cherish negative comments -- I was sure the word "Rapture" in my title would be to him like a red flag to a bull.

But, praise God, maybe my Friend is coming around to believing what the Bible teaches us.

God bless, have a wonderful, blessed day,

Bill
