In the TD. today, I see that Beretta USA is relocating to Gallatin, Tennessee from their Accokeek, MD factory. Recent Maryland gun laws have made it all but impossible to manufacture firearms there. Their Maryland plant employs 400. They already have 300 employees at their Gallatin location. Relocation from Maryland will take place in mid 2015.
Keep sending those jobs South.

If Alabama can improve its education system, particularly with improved vocational education, we can do as well as Tennessee. Beretta is known for its quality products, so they wouldn't just pick Tennessee for the cheaper workforce.

Remington is coming to Huntsville.
And Huntsville has a well educated workforce. Here's a hint folks: read to your youngun's at night when they're young and encourage them as much or more to learn as encouraging them to play sports.
On top of that: Send your children to a private school where they will get a proper education.
