Well I guess she knows that though she hated the Bible God still loved her.
Wow, I never heard of her, but she sounded a bit off her rocker.
I'm all for equality of the sexes, but she seemed like she had a lot of animosity towards men. I don't know how accurate that obituary is, but the impression it gave is that she was a very hate filled, angry lady.
I'd bet money she had at least 5 cats in her house.

Why would a Catholic College hire someone who professes to hate the bible?

Hi Rex,
That would be like telling your spouse, "I hate everything about you -- but, you should love me."
It doesn't work that way. Hating the Bible is the same as hating God -- for He authored the Bible. The Bible is His Written Word, His full revelation to mankind. How can one hate this and still love God?
And, if one does not love and revere God -- there is only one other leader to follow. Sorry, but if she hates God, He will not force her to live eternally in his presence. Seems to me that she had made a choice for her eternal home -- and not a good choice.
