a cover up for his part in the recession.

Bill stated:

""But if you believe we can all rise together, if you believe we've finally come to the point where we can put the awful legacy of the last eight years behind us and the seven years before that where we were practicing trickle-down economics with no regulation in Washington, which is what caused the crash, then you should vote for her. Because she's the only person who basically has good ideas, will tell you how she's going to pay for them, can be commander-in-chief, and is a proven change maker with Republicans and Democrats and Independents alike."

Did Bill forget that for the last seven plus years a Democrat was in power and that Hillary was Secretary of State for part of that period?

Trickle down economics had nothing to do with the recession.  The policies he implemented towards lending started the avalanche.

Wonder if, when Obama read this, he sends a message to the AG, "prosecute her."

I remember an interview some 7 or 8 years ago on TV where D*ick Morris recounted a meeting between Bill Clinton and Barney Frank. Clinton wanted to pull back the punchbowl on housing because Clinton was afraid the housing market would cause the economy to crater and Clinton didn't want his fingerprints all over the crime scene. According to Morris, Barney Frank became livid because Clinton gave into Republican Welfare reform demands a year or two earlier. Clinton might have been spared that problem because the dot-com bust deflated the economy before the housing bubble reached critical mass.
