Poor Coakley. Now Obama will throw her under the bus because it couldn't be him or his policies or his agenda that cost the Dems that seat. It has to be her and her inability to campaign well etc. Part of the whole problem with Obama is he can't see past his own agenda to what the American People truly want for their Nation.
I didn't like Brown kissing Teddy's *** in his victory speech. Why kiss the *** of the party you just defeated? Teddy is only a "legend" because he was born a Kennedy; he did nothing to earn his legacy.

I'm all for humility and respect, but Brown took the Kennedy worship too far. Do you recall Obama and company kissing the ass of Republicans? Hell no. They basically gave them the finger, and still do.

Other than that, he seems like a good guy.
Remember, Mass. still has a lot of liberals and a republican senator in Mass. is going to be like a liberal senator in Alabama, if you get what I mean. I think what happened here, was Big money from the conservatives got this republican elected in Mass. The woman he ran against didn't have the power or money to fight with. Yes, the Repubs sent 6 million dollars. Mass has a super state run health plan - maybe they really weren't too interested in helping anyone else. BTW Mr. Brown was a big supporter of the state health plan. It all may hinge on whether he wants to make an eventual run for president.

What happened here is America has awoken to the fact that they elected a jackazz to the presidency along with all the jackazzes in congress. They see what a disaster it's been so the housecleaning has begun. Too bad clifford. Fun while it lasted huh?

Brown SPECIFICALLY opposed the Democratic healthcare bill. Message sent to Congress to STOP NOW. Will they heed the message/warning?

'Heed the warning'? Not likely.

I wish I could pinpoint the originator of this comment, but earlier this week a news source cited an unnamed Democrat saying "...the American people need to sit down, shut up and let 'us' do what's best for them..." with regards to health care.
Wow. And how telling is it that they do what's "best" for us - but EXEMPT themselves!
PLEA TO DEMOCRATS AND LEFT WING IN GENERAL!

Please keep doing what you're doing! Keep on the track and agenda you've set! Keep deriding tea partiers as tea baggers. Keep referring to the participants as red necks, and worse. Declare there are no minorities in their midst (FYI! that's changed, big time), State over and over that a crowd of 1.2 million was only 75,000. Please keep up the good work, you adorable little lemmings!

After Brown's victory Tuesday night, Sen. Jim Webb, D-Va., called on the Senate to stop all health care legislation until Brown is seated. President Obama told ABC he agreed.

"The Senate certainly shouldn't try to jam anything through until Scott Brown is seated. People in Massachusetts spoke. He's got to be part of that process," he said.

First thing Obama has said I agree with.
I hope you are wrong Crusty, but it has happened before. The house and senate elections of 94 were supposed to produce results, while we are told the welfare roll did drop, nothing else was accomplished by that crew. We need term limits, term limits and a flat tax rate. For you folks on the left, that means everyone pays the same percentage of their income in taxes.
Morons in the house and senate that think they know what is best for the people and never have worked in the health care field. They haven't sat in the ER for 12 hours ever in their lives waiting to get seen. And they think they can tell us they know what is best for us. WAKE UP DEMOCRATS and others in congress!!!
