NYC regulates businesses nearly unto death. Yet, another reason conservatives disdain the left, their nanny state and attitude that government knows best. NYC has to set up another bureaucracy to advise businesses how to survive the minefield they laid.

The federal government did its best work when it was lean and flexible -- opening the west, NASA's ventures to the moon and building the Panama Canal Zone (while discovering a vaccination for yellow fever).
