Dried octopus is another Japanese "delicacy". It comes in the form of a severely flattened specimen compacted to an overall thickness of about 3/16 inch and it stinks to high heaven. They pull off pieces of this molluscan corpse and eat them, seemingly oblivious to the stench. Gag a MAGGOT!
