Rest of the story? To break up a fight? Ahhh, and the little darlings that were fighting and not screaming and running, started screaming in terror and running when the belt came out?? Oh sheesh!!

New video apparently shows a substitute teacher in Maryland beating a student with what appears to be a leather belt.

In the video, children can be heard screaming as they try to run away.

The alleged incident took place on May 15 at Gwynn Park Middle School. The video has already been seen hundreds of thousands of times online.

The circumstances behind the teacher’s behavior aren’t known, but town residents and parents are outraged.

“I just couldn’t imagine a grown man hitting my child,” Edward Torrence said.

“I really feel that’s wrong,” added Iris Wood.

The substitute teacher, who has not been identified, has been removed from the classroom, according to the school.

In a statement, the school called the teacher’s actions “improper."

The school said it "does not condone this type of behavior, and it is not representative of the level of professionalism and respectful conduct of the team at the school."

Edward Torrence was not like my Dad, my Dads rule was whatever you got at school plus a few more when I arrived home.  Guess what I learned to mind be respectful and stay out of trouble.

I guess next time just let them fight, tape it, and get sued for not intervening. Imagine, kids fighting in school, in the class room, and the parents are more worried about him using a belt. Some that have seen the entire video say that when the fight broke out, he yelled, kept yelling, but the kids, apparently having NO respect for the teacher, kept fighting. He started hitting desks and chairs with the belt. I guess we will have to see the entire video to get the full story. SMH
