The ever-expanding lunatic fringe of the GOP is unwittingly working hard to secure a slate of candidates that will be seen by sensible voters as so incompetent that the Democrats will prevail in all or most races where these tea party doofuses from nowhere are offered up.

Big mistake, Repubs. You are snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

Well, not so fast. It seems the latest Sarah Palin clone has no job, is accused of theft of campaign funds and founded an organization to promote anti masterbation! I think a little ridicule is still on the way BUT nobody will ignore it!

No ridicule for Charlie though right?

quote:
With all precincts reporting, Rangel captured 51 percent of the vote to 23 percent for Powell, his closet challenger.

Rangel is all but guaranteed to keep the seat in the heavily Democratic district.

The victory comes as the 80-year-old fights ethics charges. He is likely to face trial in the House in November. He has urged his constituents to stand with him.

The 13 ethics violations Rangel is charged with are mostly related to his personal finances and has caused some politicians, including President Obama, to suggest it is time for Rangel to retire. Obama said Rangel should "end his career with dignity."
The only red faces and high blood pressure are with the Republican establishment, who desperately fought to hold off O'Donnell and won't be endorsing her in the general election. Most Democrats see O'Donnell's primary victory as a victory for them. Of course, it would be harder to achieve progressive goals with her as a senator than with a moderate Republican in Castle, but the polls show that the likelihood of a Democratic victory in that seat just went way up.

One thing you leftist progressives fail to realize is that this not a "Republican" thing. The people of this country are sick and tired of voting for the lesser of 2 evils. The "Republicans" that are progressive and support the liberal agenda are going to be voted out. If that causes a Democrat to win the general election then so be it, there's no difference in the two.

To which Loki replies:

Yeah, we don't expect those Teabag people to understand that logic.

Wow...Loki, THAT certainly was a well thought out response.
Any more "life altering" replies???

yawn...

Yeah, I like pizza.

You see what we are dealing with here???? This is a form of terrorism. These idiots are so hell bent on sceaming long and loud about anything Glenn Beck and Sarah Palin tells them to, they had rather lose screaming than to win with viable candidate. AND THE ORIGINAL POSTS ASKED ABOUT TEA PARTY INFLUENCE: EMBARRASMENT FOR AMERICA!!!!!!!!!

You just don't get it do you. It's not the Democrats versus the Republicans for crying out loud. It's the elite establishment versus the people. Guess which side you're on? I'll give you a hint, it ain't the establishment. Of course the Republican party is going crazy, they should be. They're finding out the party is over. The Democrats are plenty scared too.

Hahahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!

So you waited until this post to do your bad spelling: "grammer"

I don't count "af", since that was evidently just a keyboard slip.

Hahahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!

EXACTLY!!!

Most voters have been indoctrinated to believe it's party over country, don't vote for someone, vote against the other party. Sometimes you just have to vote your convictions and let the chips fall where they may. Heck, if Jesus Christ ran for office as a Tea Partier, he'd be trashed too.

Jesus Christ, from his views as expressed in the gospels, was probably a socialist or at least a very progressive democrat who believed in helping the poor. And he wouldn't be welcome in the tea party, HE WAS BLACK!!!!

I know what's wrong with rocky, I saw it on the news last night. He's getting high on cough syrup.

I nay be FAR from elite establishment, BUT I will NEVER be a teabagger if THAT is what you mean by the "people".

When you get to class where they teach US history maybe they'll teach you about "we the people".
Hmmmm. In the anti-masturbation video, O'Donnell says: "The Bible says lust in your heart is committing adultry."

And adultry is a sin, yes?

Soooo, she skipped over the sins about lying, cheating and stealing?

The woman has a history of unpaid taxes, tuition and house payments, and she lied about having a college degree. So those things are good with Jesus, but the private act of masturbation is a sin?

And what's her obsession with shrubs? She's convinced there are people hiding in her bushes? (Don't say it, Buttercup! Just don't say it!)

I didn't think there was anyone nuttier than Palin or Beck. I was wrong. Geez!

Let me rephrase that so even the Tea Party hatin' sheeple will get the point.

If Jesus Christ ran for an office as an independent, he'd lose.

Trying to keep us from going blind? Well, she should go tell it on the mountain and keep out of other folks' bedrooms.

Funny, the Tea Party Gang hates being told how to live by the gov't, but are okay with being told masturbation is wrong by this self-righteous nut.

She's in no position to tell people how to walk with Jesus.

I repeat:

She needs to worry about her own bushes and not concern herself with what I do with mine!

Buttercup, THAT is better than Glenn Beck gold!!! Can I copy this statement on other blogs???? GREAT!!!!

I don't know...WWJD?

Well, I'm feeling nice today so okay.

I edited it to "what I do with mine", but go for it. Just send me $1.00 every time you use it, will ya?

Beck and Palin aren't the only ones who know how to get cash out of everything they do and say!

It's not that simple, mad. I wouldn't consider myself an Obama supporter; I'm just trying (desperately) to figure out who's the lesser of two evils these days and it's not easy.

So what do you think about O'Donnell's past? Are you okay with it?

Oh, and I DO NOT hate America.

Let me introduce myself. I am beternU. I have paid federal and state income taxes for 48 years and I think the tea partiers are mostly a bunch of simplistic sheeple played for suckers by right-wing talk show manipulators big money interests who organize and finance much of the tea party activity.
