Last weekend"His Holiness", the Dalai Lama rvisited Birmingham.  I could not find the cost of tickets today, since the site offering them says they are no longer available.  A later date on the west coast lists tickets in the $90 to $113 range.

I can rent the classic "Being There" with Peter Sellers for a couple of bucks and get the same depth and quality of advice from "Chance the Gardener."   Why should I ante up big bucks to hear such bland aphorisms and cliches as these?

Probably no limit to how much you would pay for a ticket to go to Birmingham to see Obama.
