I didn't realize I was his whipping boy.  The thought of Bill, whipping, and boys all in one place is quite scary and totally disgusting.

I see a lot of the things Billy says when someone quotes him or when I get a PM from someone wanting me to read something terrible he said about me. I admit I get angry & it's human nature to want to defend.

I'm not sure I would call it being a whipping boy, but we are Bill's sounding board. We are giving him his chance to do what he loves to do. I realize if there were no sounding board, he would probably go away. He loves & needs the attention he gets here, even if it is negative.

Bill is a bully, a blustering, quarrelsome, overbearing man who habitually badgers & wants to intimidate people. He aggressively tries to impose domination over others, & those of us that respond to him give him a place to do that.

It's a shame that people like Bill exist, especially in a religious setting. But he will keep doing what he's doing because we are giving him the means to do it.

I've shared PM's with a great niece of Bill's that contacted me months ago. One of her questions to me was why we even bother to dialog with someone like him. Sadly, I couldn't give her an answer that made any sense.

It's hard to not respond when he's so blatantly obnoxious and everyone

is arguing and then he does his lying six year old snot nose kid thing. Rough.

So it's for all the concerned, to ignore the nauseating needling. It's been tried

a number of times and when a few cave, that's when we all jump back in 

because he can be such a coward  with that flicking satanic tongue.

My meaning of it here is, anyone he uses to make himself feel better about his life by running them down, demeaning them, trying to put them under his control. I could go on and on, but everyone knows how he is. It's not just you, it's anyone that tries to "dialog" with him IF they have a differing opinion or dares to "correct" him or point out his bad behavior. The few, wherever they come from, that do agree with him and stroke his ego are just like him and they get a pat on the head. I can't imagine why anyone would want his approval, but I'm sure there are some that do.

Now-when I first joined the forum it was to comment on a story I had read in the news. Later I read the religion forum. The description of the thread made it clear it was open to everyone, not just believers, and I could read past posts and see that was the way it worked, anyone could post. I never go to christian only sites that someone has started, join, and start commenting or fighting with them. If I go, it's to read their comments about certain things. It didn't take long for me to see who thought they owned and controlled this forum, and that he thought it was his own private little church. I wondered for a while why he didn't just rent a space and start his own church, then I realized it was because it would be like it is here, very few would agree with him and the place would be empty. He can only throw his weight around with captive audiences. That's why I said  I feel so very sorry for the people who have to be around him. I sparred with him for a lot longer than I should, but I finally just blocked his silliness. He's a petulant old man stuck in the past.

Don't you just love being the "fly on the wall" listening to two atheists chatting?   This just goes to prove that even atheists enjoy fellowship with one another.   See, I told you that atheists can be nice, very good people -- just not saved people.

Well, anyway, I am happy to see my atheist Friends enjoying themselves -- while they still can!

Bill is going to bust Hell wide open when he dies but there's about 4 people here that believe he is actually saved, & a Christian. I find that amazing, because two of them seem to be intelligent men, except for their belief about Bill.

I guess I missed them because I have never seen an intelligent person that agreed with him. Seriously, I can't think of one.

You've never missed them, you've just never thought of them as intelligent. Though I have never met them, they have always treated me kindly & seem to be very nice & intelligent. I don't see them as a dumb redneck at all. They think Bill is saved because they too believe in OSAS.

Bill would post here no matter what.  He does so over on his Facebook page, and will get three hallelujahs and nothing else.  He may still post on a blog that for the longest time had one follower, and a while ago shot up to three. 

This is the only place that he gets any real reaction; and though it is mostly dissension, it is most suited to his narcissistic needs.  Never underestimate a sick mind.
