What good will it do for democrats to pass bills that Bush will only veto?

Easy, Congress is no longer a partisan rubber stamp for Bush. He can veto, Congress can refuse to pass. Anything that gets done will have to be acceptable to both Bush and Congress.

Well, that's how our system works, but they can always override the veto with 2/3 of congress. Except Bush's signing statements are a problem when he claims he is not bound by the law.

Of course Bush stole the election so he is not worried about what the people think.

Time impeach and proscute the whole bunch, then protect the vote and build an alternative progressive peoples media.
