Dez Bryant had something on his mind, and he decided to share it.

On Sunday, via Instagram, Bryant posted four photos of text discussing his thoughts on race in America; thoughts that have garnered some controversy. In the text, he called for black people in America to rise up and make a better life for themselves.

Bryant poured his heart out on a matter he believes in, but it's not surprising that it courted controversy. He did mention Charles Barkley after all, whose comments on race are a frequent lightning rod that do little beyond attracting additional controversy.

Still, we're left wondering what happened yesterday that caused Bryant to share his thoughts. Something seems to have affected him greatly to post this.
