"Many of the protesters were American citizens".
So who were the rest?
Some of the protesters might have needed to be slapped around, but not by Turks.

Well then, you tell us all about it. Who do you think should have been slapping them around and why?
Probably by you. You would enjoy doing it.

Why would I do it? See, this is proof you have NO idea wth is going on with the story.
Should have declared the Turk ambassador persona non grata and kicked his rear in out. Unfortunately, we need Turkey in the struggle against ISIS, access to the Black Sea (peacefully) and as a counter to the Persians. Erdogan is thug. Unfortunately, realpolitik is an ugly, but necessary thing.

Like I've stated, Dems come in three flavors -- terminally stupid, invulnerable ignorant and venomously evil, some overlap may occur.
And they breed............
Kraven and Dire, am I to understand that both of you think that the Turks were doing the right thing in assaulting american citizens and you both endorse their actions.

Once more JT, re-enforces my description of the invulnerably ignorant faction of Democrats. I stated that the ambassador deserved the usual treatment for diplomats that don't observe international rules when posted abroad.
Then, I stated that due to the geopolitical position of Turkey, the US needed her on our side due to Russia, ISIS and Iran. What part of Erdogan is a thug, didn't JT understand? As an example, during WWII, the US supported Stalin, the second worse mass murdered in history, against Hitler, the third worse.

I can't see anywhere you or Kraven said you agreed with what the Turkish bodyguards did. I didn't see anywhere Best gave any indication she agreed with it, but Jt went after her too. The only one I saw agreeing that the protesters needed a beating, he just won't say by who, was jtdavis.

As I posted, you were the only one that thought an assault was the right thing, and endorsed it. You just won't say who you think should render the beatings. Which Americans were assaulted? The reports say there were some, some, Americans in the crowd of protesters. Who were the rest that you said needed a beating?
Looks like jt is going to run away from the questions. Come on jt, tell us why you think some of the protesters should have been beaten, and who YOU think should have done the beatings.
Some of the protesters may have needed their butts kicked, but not by Turks

Oh really? By who then?
Gifted and Best, I posted "may have" needed their butts kicked. I did not say should.
I know what you posted. I just don't know why you were so weasly that you tried to turn what you said around on Best, Dire, and Kraven and tried to make it seem like they some how endorsed or agreed with the beatings. You were the only one that made such a statement. They didn't even say the protesters may have needed their butts kicked. You said that.
well, do the forum republicons agree with the protestors?
republicons, on these forums, have been calling for crazy things to protestors.... from jail to running them down to killing them.... what do the forum republicons think should have happened to the turkish detail or the protestors?
i'm curious as to what republicons would have or want to be done.
