A shame you loved it so much without having any idea what I 'said'. NOTHING in my post said or suggested any such thing as, "If it's my guy, he didn't, if he did, he had a good reason for it". You have no idea what 'we will have to wait and see' means.

IF that is what it is, and the person WAS OF AGE, it is a crying shame the man paid him off.

Meaning an affair between two of age consenting same sex people is no one's business.

IF the person was of age, Hastert should be able to say,  "yes, it happened, and I don't regret it", just like the lefty said.

The lefty being gerry studd. Where did I say he was wrong for saying, that, having his affair with a consenting adult, or should have  been punished?

 Lastly

If it was a minor, I don't have any sympathy, but I still think the person blackmailing him should be charged.

Well Hastert isn't one of them and I've done more wrong than most, just

might be necessary for a repeat in some actions but never do anything

that involves another person.

When, they start nitpicking, it means "I got nothing."  Wonder about his support for the radical mosque in Phoenix -- the one where the imam was a child molester.

He never finds any fault with a muslim or the coc. Yet he rails against Mormons, Baptists and RC. Go figure.

Plus, cats, Amish heaters and the Army Engineer Corps. Suspect Condie is a Luddite.

Another portion of the equation is, "what did the alleged extortionist do with the funds he received?"  If, he received cash (about $925,000) and kept it at home, no problem, initially.  If, he deposited the funds in a bank account, without filling out appropriate required forms, then, he would be guilty of restructuring, as well.  Of course, there's the nasty IRS to deal with. Was the cash reported as revenue?  Al Capone learned the hard way.
