Christian rocker Bradlee Dean, who filed a $50 million defamation lawsuit against Rachel Maddow, was ordered to pay the MSNBC host's legal fees last month.

Reports surfaced on Monday that Dean was ordered to pay the defendants' legal fees. In addition to Maddow, MSNBC, The Minnesota Independent and Andy Birkey are reportedly all named as defendants in the suit. According to court records, Dean was ordered to pay a total of $24,625.23.>>>

<<<On May 20, 2011, Bradlee Dean was invited by the Minnesota Republican Party to lead the ceremonial prayer at the start of the Minnesota House's legislative session. The day's business had, ironically, been discussion of a proposed amendment to ban gay marriage. However, Dean's prayer (go figure) had turned fiercely partisan and wound up with, amongst other things, wanting only to recognize Christian members of the legislature and him insulting Barack Obama by accusing him of being a Muslim.[17] This led to so much outrage that the Speaker of the House (Kurt Zellers) ordered a complete re-start of the session with a new prayer by the regular House Chaplain.[18] A speech was then given by Democratic Rep. Terry Morrow lambasting the Republicans for allowing the prayer[19] and was followed by an apology by Republican House Speaker Zellers himself.[20]>>>

I guess the ratings last week tell how popular that Maddow is versus Bill O'Reilly.

Last week, his listeners were 230% that of Maddow.

And I promise you that just about all those listeners were in the "blue states", especially in the gay havens like California.  People around here just don't have any desires to listen to her ultra liberal, lesbian message.

The job of all these people is to increase ratings which in turn brings in more ad revenue for their respective companies. Maddow may have a better education resume but she is not as good at her job as Hannity and Limbaugh. For the record, I don't like any of the 3.

Because I can and because there is no "statute of limitations" as to what can be placed on this forum and because it is MY choice, not yours, what I post here and because I find it highly amusing that the nutjob "preacher" who sued Dr. Maddow had to ante up for her legal fees and because I felt a compulsion to rankle the wing nuts on this forum (worked, didn't it?)..

Pick any of those reasons you wish.

=============================

I didn't realize one meaning of "rankle" was "making people laugh at you for stretching for something to post".

You just make stuff up as you go, don't you Best?

You very obviously did not read the responses to my post or you strangely mis-read them.  Go back and see where you can find even a hint of amusement in the rancorous responses to my post.

You list those and there is another one who did graduate college and is part of land mark legal foundation.

Well, dog1, I thought it just might be appropriate to list the two most-listened-to right wing radio personalities in the country instead of perhaps seeking out some  "another one" (whom you do not name) who graduated from college somewhere and is part of that  foundation you named.

You pick your examples and I will pick mine.

 You know very well who I am talking about. The great hating Lavin there is a reason nobody from the left media tries to push him around he knows the legal system. As he threaten to drag Chris Matthews to court for defamation linking him to the Arizona shootings after that Matthews has never brought it up on him again.

Maddow may be the smartest single announcer on TV.  She always has her stuff in order.

Please I do not hardly watch either of them but they both push their agenda and omit facts, skew data to make the other side look bad.
