Suspended for a week??? If this was a man, he would have been fired.

Of course she apologized, she got busted! I hope the public makes such an outcry over this that she gets fired!

ESPN told WBTV that McHenry "has been suspended for one week effectively immediately.”

McHenry posted an apology on Twitter around 4:30 p.m. Thursday afternoon, about six hours after the video was made public.

She really did seem ugly in that video.  However, I believe the focus should be on how we treat employees.  I've seen it many times and am probably responsible for mistreating employees myself.  My friend's husband went into a retail establishment where another friend worked just the other day and showed his butt.  People think they are better than people working in retail because they make more money.  If they don't get their way they lash out at the employee who is just doing their job.  I would venture to say 80% of the people appalled by her behavior have exhibited similar behavior.

We need to keep in mind, most of the time the clerk is just hired help and has to do what the boss says. Also, they are there because they need the money. If you want to last out at someone, ask for the boss or owner.

I agree she was rude, but these towing /parking lots bandits are notorious for the antics, and usually very hard to deal with. They extort people thru legalized theft and force you to jump thru hoops (cash only) in order to get your vehicle back.  The entire clip was not shown, but I bet the attendant gave as well as she got. I am not condoning the young lady's actions, but I can certainly see why she felt the way she did.

I do think she was wrong. However what percentage of so called celebs does she represent? why do we put them on a pedestal? I have seen this behavior by "celebs" often. thank goodness when I was young we didn't have all these cameras.  Oh and for the free speech, it is only protected from Govt. persecution, you are still responsible for what you say. The whole free speech thing is over used and shows lack of education.

There is a very thin line between expressing your opinion and belittling an employee, This lady certainly crossed that line. if I were her employer I would not want her in any position of supervisor over other people. She definitely needed some discipline because of her action. Being a front person for a news/sports media does require a special kind of attitude. It is sad that all the collage education she claims to have has not taught her the basic principle of how to treat the other person.
