To see Facebook like it used to be go to the left hand side, where it reads "Friends" click onto it, then click onto "Status Updates", then to post something click onto "+ Update Status", there you will not see "who became a fan of", or "is now freinds of", or the games people are playing, it's like old times. And by the way the Times Daily now has a Facebook site, hope this helps.
