Of course, the Pastor didn’t report it. He wanted it swept under the rug, couldn't risk losing any money.

Can someone tell me why Eddie's ex-wife is still getting his salary? The jerk is in prison, he doesn’t work there anymore, & they’re divorced!!!

“The lawsuit accuses church leaders at Highland Park of waiting 10 days before reporting accusations of sexual abuse”.

“Highland Park Baptist Church is still providing Eddie’s wife with his full salary, benefits and free cell phone service. Eddie’s wife filed for divorce near the time of his arrest. The case has since been sealed”.

Why is this in the News Forum? Because it's been reported on TV & in the paper as news. The Religion forum has become a mockery & not fit for decent discussion anymore.

Considering they've already broke ground for a mega church costing 2 plus million, I would say they're floating in the money.

My guess is it will be settled out of court too. That Pastor & some of the people there don't want their dirty laundry hung out for the public to see. If God exist, it will be interesting to see how long it takes Him to destroy that church. I believe it's already in the works.

They sure was fast to cop a plea , for Eddie.. and close or seal the case. If it had gone to the courts, no telling who would be sweating the most, of who knew what and when.

Why did they wait 10 days before reporting this.

Same reason this law Suite will never go to court .

Doesn't make any sense, especially since it's not his salary anymore & he's not her husband anymore. Stupid people make stupid decisions!
