he'll be remembered as one of the best who ever played, to those who watched him. if you didn't, look at the stats. if you can read.

there's no shame in being beaten by a better TEAM.

i wish he'd played at alabama.

joy, i bet texas was thinking, 'oh, dang it', or something like that. Smiler

roll tide!

by the way, i thought cincy played a very dirty game, particularly in the first quarter, the only one i was fully awake for. a cincy player jumped full force on and deliberately kneed (i thought) the down and injured florida running back, demps, on his chest/injured arm, among several incidents. i have NO love or sympathy for florida, but the dirty play was so obvious, i was surprised the announcers never mentioned it.

if that's what cincy's former coach is taking to notre dame, i don't think that arrangement will last long.

The snide, snarky, snotty comments about Mr. Tim Tebow's show of emotion are just about as dopey as anything I have ever seen posted on the TD forums, and that covers a lot of snide, snarky, snotty territory.

Let us hope no Alabama player ever shows such emotion publicly. It would be a shame for the anti-Tebow dirtbags to have to figure out how to handle that.

Tebow is more man and has more class than all you carping critics combined!

My guess is that Fla. offensive line and rcvrs were holding on nearly every play. God forbid that the "Holy Ones" would be held up for scrutiny. And announcers did not say a word.
i never saw a florida player deliberately leap full on an injured body part of a cincy player, neither did i see a florida player punch a cincy player full in the face in plain view of everyone, with no flag and no comment from the announcers.

again, i despise florida, but i despise a cheater and dirty playing more.

as far as tebow, he is one of the greats and if you think him shedding tears over our defeat of florida is a sign of weakness, you don't have class enough to respect an honorable and valiant opponent.

I agree. I re-ran that play several times, and it was obvious that in the fast action at the end of that play, the Florida player was clearly not in sufficient control of the way he was falling to have intentionally kneed his opponent.

Alabama will be going up against a better quarterback tomorrow than Tebow.

Don't listen to the hype...just read the stats.
