For Sale Cheap? in Birmingham

I couldn't pay the utility bills and property taxes--even if I paid cash for the property.  And what would HOA fees be in Shoal Creek?  It used to be $50K just to join the country club--if they'd accept someone like me as a member.  Monthly dues must be out of sight.

Personally, I find such rather ridiculous.  Its over the top and ostentatious.  A small wine cellar and formal dining room, perhaps. But, 16 bathrooms!   

The "decadent foyer" is not the only decadent feature of this ostentatious ego-feeding monstrosity.

Tacky, and the guitar shaped drive may be the tackiest part.

Webb Pierce's guitar shaped swimming pool in Nashville sets the tone for tackiness of this kind.

He welcomed gangs of bus tourists to gawk at this extravagance and even provided a bus parking area along the street.  His neighbor, Ray Stevens, protested this kind of activity in their high falutin' neighborhood, which is just a few doors down from the Tennessee Governor's Mansion and the home of the late Minnie Pearl.  Minnie was classy; her home displayed no such rank  tackiness.

Does it include " The Man in the Iron Mask" in the basement?

Looks like it might end up as a high end event and party house.
