Hi all,

That is like declaring that, because children drank clean purified water -- they must now be forced to drink contaminated water to have balanced health.

Besides, I thought that you non-believers keep yelling that atheism is not a religion.  Well, Satanism is just one arm of atheism.  Welcome to Religion!

Bless your little hearts!

Bill

This part of the article pretty much says it all:

"Had Christian extremists let the school remain a secular place that honored the separation of church and state, the Satanic Temple would not have been able to introduce kids to The Satanic Children’s Big Book of Activities, which will be widely available in Orange County schools."

Christian nationist theocrats like Bill Gray, who rely on their own erroneous, disordered, unconstitutional concepts of church and state, will wail and mourn and don their hair shirts to lament this situation, which would have easily been avoided if the school authorities had not acted illegally to give preference to one belief system.

Those who arranged for the preferential distribution of Christian materials now my consider themselves as facilitators of the introduction of Satanist propaganda into the public school system.

Jesus urged his followers to be "as wise as serpents and as harmless as doves."  The school authorities of Orange County have shown themselves to be as dumb as rocks and harmful to the cause of Christianity.

Any attorney who might have advised the school board that it was legal/constitutional to selectively place those Christian materials in public school classrooms should be disciplined by the state bar system.

One wonders just what particular doctrines were provided in the "religious pamphlets" distributed to the public school students.  Did those moppets receive information on things like predestination, the "Rapture", the "sinner's prayer" or other matters wherein there is wide divergence of views among Christians or those claiming to be Christians?

Oh well, been warning them for a long time now. Get ready, schools are already speaking with muslims to find out how to make the schools more 'muslim friendly', but the so called christians don't have a problem with that. Well, this atheist has a problem with it, but the christians will blame the atheists for it when it happens. Funny how that works.

Stupid is as stupid speaks.

Just because billiee says it, he then believes it. He and many like him have

been brainwashed. Atheism as a religion isn't logical anymore than Big Foot

as a religion. Atheism is a choice. Satanism is a religion.

To be a religion there must be at least one entity that is considered of deity

status. I choose not to believe in the Big Pumpkin, no religion there.

I do believe in Apple Pie, still no religion even if you do call it a belief system,

it's not a religious system of belief.

Well, perhaps to atheists, Satan--or perhaps old Baphomet--fills that role:

Satanic Temple unveils giant goat-headed statue for OK state capitol.

By your standard, Invictus, Buddhism apparently does not qualify as a religion:

I'd be shocked to find anyone that calls/considers themselves an atheist that believes satan, or any of the other mythical gods or whatever else you want to call them, exists/ever existed.

Actually atheism isn't so much a choice as it is a logical conclusion. I don't 'choose' not to believe in any gods-nonbelief in gods of any kind is all that's left after careful examination of the evidence...(of which there really is none.   NO, the bible is NOT evidence of a god's existence any more than Marvel Comics is evidence of Spider-man's existence.)

Having no valid evidence for the existence of any deities, non-belief in deities is the result.

It's a classic "if-then" operation.

That's right RP, the Bible isn't proof of God's existence. A video is needed.

There's no choice for any decision for the unknown if the unknown is never

put to a decision for an answer.

Doesn't change a thing whether you try to answer either way. You can call that chicken 'Bessie' all day long but she ain't gonna give ya no milk.  "Unknown" doesn't mean there is or there isn't.  Based on the available evidence, the only conclusion I could draw is "unlikely."
