Fuqua / Dog Fight / Missing : Body Found

Maybe the family can have a bit of closure now. Praying for the Fuqua family in their time of need right now.

6 weeks later and the family can ID the body? I guess all the cold weather did some 'good' afterall.

We may have to wait and see. He might not have died by falling into the creek as suspected.

Praying for pit bulls, trained to fight to the death for entertainment. This man, Fuqua, was at the wrong place, at the wrong time, doing the wrong thing and then made the wrong response to the raid.

Does anyone know what happened to the dogs? When they are taught to fight, aren't they usually put down?

Normally, yes they are. Sad fact. All over the country shelters are automatically putting down pits that have never fought just because of their breed,and yet people still knowingly breed them. Man is definitely not the most intelligent species.

7 million cats and dogs put down a year. It's isn't as if there was room for any at the shelters if they could be adopted.

I have always told my kids, bad things can happen to anyone, anywhere, anytime, but you greatly increase those chances when you choose to be involved in risky, illegal, or dangerous activities.
And, I have zero respect or tolerance for anyone who derives pleasure from observing the suffering of another living creature. I despise the argument that "they are born to fight" and "they love it!" Oh, yeah, right. Why don't these people join fight clubs or something if they think it's so wonderful? Let THEM be the ones inflicting and receiving painful and sometimes mortal wounds. Ack.

He knew it was wrong. He knew it was exciting. He may or may not have been intoxicated. He chose the wrong path. May he rest in peace.

People already trying to start the conspiracy theory.I have not seen anything that does not add up in this story.
