Lately, I did some work at the Anniston Depot. Found an excellent cafe in Oxford -- Garfrerick's Cafe, 655 Creekside Dr. Finding an upscale modernized bistro surrounded by the typical fast food schlock is a treasure.

The kitchen in in the open and watching them perform is part of the entertainment. Not too many tables, but there is seating at a counter over looking the kitchen, as well.

Good wine selection, many you don't see regularly.

Wish we had known about it before, we were in the area last week and just hit Applebee's. Don't know if we'll be back that way but will keep it in mind, anyhow!
