The chief scientist...the guy that Al Gore's hockey stick graph is based on...says "he has trouble ‘keeping track’ of the information".

Well I sure feel better about all those proposals to siphon billions and billions of dollars out of the world economy.

Climategate U-Turn as Scientist at Center of Row Admits: There Has Been No Global Warming Since 1995

*Data for vital 'hockey stick graph' has gone missing

*There has been no global warming since 1995

*Warming periods have happened before – but NOT due to man-made changes

The academic at the centre of the ‘Climategate’ affair, whose raw data is crucial to the theory of climate change, has admitted that he has trouble ‘keeping track’ of the information.

Colleagues say that the reason Professor Phil Jones has refused Freedom of Information requests is that he may have actually lost the relevant papers.

Professor Jones told the BBC yesterday there was truth in the observations of colleagues that he lacked organisational skills, that his office was swamped with piles of paper and that his record keeping is ‘not as good as it should be’.

The data is crucial to the famous ‘hockey stick graph’ used by climate change advocates to support the theory.

Professor Jones also conceded the possibility that the world was warmer in medieval times than now – suggesting global warming may not be a man-made phenomenon.

And he said that for the past 15 years there has been no ‘statistically significant’ warming.

The admissions will be seized on by sceptics as fresh evidence that there are serious flaws at the heart of the science of climate change and the orthodoxy that recent rises in temperature are largely man-made.

Another great story NO CLUE.

To summarize, increasing temperatures from greenhouse gasses should INCREASE the amount of fog along the California coasts. "Climate models have predicted that with the warming caused by the buildup of greenhouse gases in Earth's atmosphere, California's coastal fog would increase as a result of changing atmosphere and ocean circulation patterns. "

Guess what? "But weather records that just recently became available have shown the opposite trend of a significant decrease in fog over the past 100 years."

The Climate experts don't have a clue. Obviously, the "climate models" they are using are little more than (uneducated) guesses.
Even better,

The sudden pullout of three corporate giants from a leading alliance of businesses and environmental groups could be the death knell for climate change legislation languishing on Capitol Hill.

ConocoPhillips, BP America and Caterpillar's announced Tuesday they will pull out of the U.S. Climate Action Partnership, citing complaints that the bills now in Congress are unfair to American industry.
If global warming is caused by man, (not just a regular cycle), I believe it is more of a smudge pot effect than greenhouse gasses.

In the citrus groves the use smudge pots to keep the temperature above the freezing point to stop damage to the groves from frost. Have you ever seen a picture of the earth from outer space a night? It looks like smudge pots everywhere.
Some years ago I bought a car with a thermometer in it and while traveling in the winter I noticed that as I approached various towns, the temperature would go up and as I left them it would go back down.

I grew up in country and I can remember my parents and the local farmers subtracting 3 or 4 degrees from the forecast. Every paved road and parking lot, building, factory and many other things reflecting heat and in many cases generate it is worse than the greenhouse effect.

The areas where the earth is covered prevent the heat of the sun from being absorbed and it also contributes to the flooding problems as it prevents the absorption of rain water.

What you are saying is called the "urban island heating effect". It's a well known phenomena and apparently the climate change scientists have not been adjusting their temperature data to compensate for it.
